Online video continues to explode in growth as more consumers are watching video on mobile phones, tablets, smart tv’s, and even gaming consoles. A recent survey found that 44 percent consumers are viewing full-length movies and TV shows over the Internet on a daily basis and 39 percent do so weekly.

With this shift in consumption, more video publishers are re-evaluating their distribution channels and how they monetize their content as advertisers are expected to spend 8.04 billion by 2016 on online video advertising, nearly double from the 4.14 billion spent in 2013.
